I recently picked this enlarger lens up for about $16 shipped. I had been interested in getting one long before Klaus's post: http://forum.mflenses.com/hoya-wa-f4-60mm-takes-a-walk-to-the-park-t63328.html but never knew if I could really get much use from it. Didn't know if it would work on my Sony a850 as anything but a macro. Being a Biogon-type design, I assumed it might only work on a mirrorless. It's also a W.A. lens, so it won't perform very well on a condenser enlarger either, which is what I primarily use (I hate my diffusion setup).
Klaus's samples of course convinced me to try to get one though (just had to find one cheap enough if it didn’t work out). It turns out I can easily get infinity. The back element comes about even with the mount at infinity so there’s a decent amount of mirror clearance. I’m not a huge fan of the samples I managed to get yesterday but the quality is impressive. Looks to have a good “pop.”

Well, maybe it is you + your great model Anastasia - and not just the lens??

Honestly, it is a great lens indeed and a friend of mine specialized on gemstones
and jewelry bought one and the results also for closeup are amazing.

So the word is out and the prices will (again) skyrocket on this one...SIGGGHHHHH
