This is the Adaptall-2 version.

Today I've arrived home not so late as the other days this week. This afternoon has been raining, but when arriving home the clouds had almost disappeared and some sun was shining for a while.

I've been at the top of the building, I wanted to shot some clouds. First I took the Industar-50, but with the 1,5 crop factor in the Pentax, the field was too narrow. So I came down and picked the Tamron.

Not too interesting the roofing and the chimneys. Anyway I found the lens superb: crisp and clear

And a 100% crop:

I like it...

Jes.

Looks very promising Jes. I think maybe the sensor cleaning on the camera needs some help. I see a piece of lint if I'm not mistaken.

I totally disagree. It's a charming subject when shoot like this.
A shiftable lens would have been perfect for this taks.

I saw a Tamron 24mm at the fair. I asked for the price but they asked for an unreasonable one (150 Euros).

You're right Andy, in three of the pictures...
I hope the sensor cleaning mechanism do the work at the next power on...
Thanks for pointing it!

Hi Orio, I paid a little fraction of that... (1/6) plus shipping.
I think is my first good deal in MF lenses...

Thanks for your comments. A shiftable lens would improve perspective?.

Yes, for sure, colours seem fine, and flare is not noticeable:

Just a couple of flare-risky shots:

Regarding colours we should wait for the next sunny day. In this particular landscape there were many blues and some greens, but not other colours to compare.. Blues and greens are fine to me.

This one is the most colorful shot I got in this series:

I had one before selling to a fellow forum member and liked it a lot. It's a good lens stopped down at least one stop. Prices seem to vary a lot on this lens (arguably very true of most Tamrons) I've seen it go for anything from 30 gbp to 90.

I would call it an excellent deal, Jes!

Yes, it would have kept the lines parallel instead of converging. Of course, you can also do it with Photoshop...
