Today was the first warm spring day in Berlin and time for some flower shots.

First pic was taken with the Flektogon 2.8/20 + Extension ring.

The others with the Helios 40 (what a lens).

All nice shots. My favourite is #2 because I think it's a very original composition.
Actually if it was everything in focus (net and flower) I think it would become a very strong image: a flower in prison!

I too like #2. It triggers my imagination and makes me think that some day we will only be able to flowers on display (like animals in a zoo) as there will no longer be any left in the wild. Thanks for sharing these photos.

I'm ga-ga over #5. I LOVE the soft orange with the greenery...the bokeh is to die for. Beautiful.

My vote is for #3 as well - I think it shows the strengths of that very demanding lens to a tee.

Thank you all for the positive response. I also prefer pic No. 2 and 3.
The unbelievable Bokeh effect in No. 3 looks like green water with water bubbles.
