You missed the Leica claim in "brand specifics" under brand...it ticks all the boxes!

Never heard of the carl meyer connection or name before.

"Carl Meyer" was a house brand name of Burke & James, Chicago. Famous camera dealer at its time.

It's hardly surprising it's soft at wide apertures, that rear element looks knackered.
