I have to choice among the follow 35 mm lenses

1- MC Rokkor-X 2,8 - last 7 elements version. Aperture sticky. Repair?

2- Super Takumar 3,5

3- Konica hexanon AR 2,8 - N° 6.9xx.xxx. Oldest one.

4- Auto Chinon 2,8 - not multicoated.

I just have the Minolta plain MD 2,8/35 in 49 mm. ring, and don't like it so much.

Any suggestion inside the lenses named ut supra?

Which one looks cooler on your body ?
Yeah, thats a shallow reason, but all of these should be at least good enough for practical purposes.

I think I'd go for whichever feels best.

From your list, the one that stands out is the Super-Takumar.
Why?
It is the only one with no issues.
Rokkor - sticky aperture
Konica - adapter
Chinon - made by?

Super-Takumar will also have that legendary engineering precision that makes everything about it such a joy to use - silky smooth focus, reliable and positive aperture in half as well as full stops, manual and auto switch.
From what you have to choose from - it is my pick
Oh, and it is cute......
OH Very Happy

2 or 1(if can be repaired)

Konica, with adapter? or modify the mount? I dont know much more about this lens, just heard that the Flange Focale is 40.5mm. I m not sure you can use it to take landscapte photo.

Chinon? I dont know much more about this lens. what about the mount?

2, I think it is easy to use.

I have the Auto Chinon . It is sharp and has nice colours. I got mine for 18 euros.
The downside is the size. I want something more compact for my A7.
I am thinking about the SMC 3,5 or about the CV 35/2.5.

Yeah for 35mm in needs to look the balls. I mean fark... they are all pretty dam good really?

I say Pentax M. because its not on your list and probably cheaper still Laughing

I'd say Konica, the takumar 35/3.5 is not so good compared to the Primagon for example

build and picture quality of the Konica is outstanding for its general price, what type of camera body are you using if you don't mind me asking? trying to understand the issue with the adaptor.

Thank you, guys.

The chinon is M42.

I like more the konica and/or minolta with my cams.

Almost all my lenses are minolta, but the stiki aperture is a problem that don't know if can be repair.

Sony nex 35n and 5N.

I read that the nikon/nex adapter should be ok for hexanon lenses. Should be? Any other solution?

As for me, I've purchased Minolta MC W-Rokkor HG 35mm f/2.8 recently for my A7. I found some very good examples from this lens on A7 so I couldn't resist Smile I was very much interested in Minolta MD 35/1.8 but it I am not sure about price/IQ of this lens.

Why nikon? Because i have it.

Why not Ebay? Because tax questions in my country and problems to pay to somebody in other country. So.....internal market. And here in there are not konica/nex adapter.

In almost all minolta's forums like mi-fo, the 7 elements 2,8 is better than the 1,8.

ah I see, well the lens could only be used for macro work then if you wanted to adapt it to Nikon mount, I have seen you get adaptors for Konica lenses to Nikon but they have a glass element in them and that's never really a good thing.

you could always build an adaptor if you have an old Konica SLR or an extra Konica lens cap and a body cap or c mount adaptor for Nex!! a bit of a mission though.

ok, I understand... What if I am kindhearted guy and send you an Konica/NEX adapter for free?
Does this will make some problem in your country?

EDIT: BTW the konica lens will not lock on Nikon adapter and does not reach infinity. It fits nice but as I mention before no lock and no infinity. Other than that IMHO the Konica's have an exceptional glass and this is the way to go.

Don't need those adapters as I have Pentax and Olympus and broken Nikon (sold locally already but the guy still didn't pick-up... I guess he is very busy, amazing...) but will get you one...

I will contact this seller (link bellow) to ship this to your address and not to me. If he says yes then I will need your delivery address, just patience.
