I did a simple test today.
I have a simple EOS-NEX adapter which does not allow aperture control.
So I can only shoot with my ZE Distagons wide-open.
I like to put an air conditioner at medium distance, on the edge of the frame.
I think this is a hard test.
Here are my results (100% crops of in-camera JPEGs)
Zeiss Distagon 2,8/21 ZE @ f/2,8
Zeiss Distagon 2/35 ZE @ f/2
I think they perform very well, as expected.
This is the absolute corner of the frame, both lenses wide-open.
Meanwhile, my search for a lightweight and compact wide-angle lens for the A7r continues... _________________ Νίκος • www.diafragma.gr
