Hi,

I've seen this Jupiter 6, that fits my will for a fast and cheap telephoto lens. My longer MF lens right now is the CZJ Sonnar 3,5/135.
I think it's a copy of a Zeiss Sonnar, as usual. That is a good start point.
Do you have one of them? Is it good as a Jupiter 9?
I'd like your comments. Very Happy

Rare lens, you can't go wrong with any Jupiter.

I saw Veijo's page. How couldn't I? Very Happy

My interest is mainly to use it wide open. I have a Canon 70-200 f4L that gives great results from f4 (sorry, I also use AF lenses Razz )

By the way, Attila, my Jupiter 9 is not good, maybe it's badly repaired.
Confused

I had 3-4 Jupiter-9 all of them was first class lens, sorry to get a lemon one. Perhaps wrongly repaired or they put foreign lens tag inside.

It will be more valuable after long time waiting Smile try in portrait action that is the best area for J-9

Well, I am not ashamed to say I now have serious lens envy !

I want one ! Perhaps after the Zeiss Olympia Sonnar (one of these days when I'm not feeling cheap).

Do you know which one is Olympia Sonnar ? Many people mix it with later issues.

I think so - its the one with the curved tripod mount ? It is much more elegant than the later models ?

Excellent photos, VGR! Your Jupiter looks great and it has rare "00" serial number. I'm dreaming about Jupiter-6 or Helios 40... but these lenses are rather expensive and rare. Hard to grab it here!
