You may find this blog post of interest. I own a Leica M9 and a Nikon D800 DSLR so I thought I would compare the two for different types of photography?

Is there a clear winner? See here - http://wp.me/s3ioIk-d800vsm9

Two very different cameras, but equally impressive results by the looks of it. The shots in your blog are stunning, well done Smile

Thanks guys, i'm glad it was useful.

I will follow up the Nikon D800 vs Leica M9 comparison review with some side by side comparison shots from both cameras using the same focal lengths when I get chance plus cover some additional topics I have not touched on so far.

Moved from "Manual Focus Lenses" to "Digital Rangefinder/Viewfinder Cameras" section (as the M9 is the first term of comparison in the title).
