Fantastic as always, Attila. Yes, your wife makes a great model, but give yourself some credit -- you chose the best moments to take the pix and that means something.

I was somewhat startled when I saw her with that hair and makeup. She reminds me of a TV personality here in the US who was popular back in the 80s and 90s -- Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. She hosted a weekly "creature feature" show. Scary movies, ya know. Although, far as I know, Elvira never used a katana as a prop.

While I like all the photos, I especially like the dynamic nature of numbers 5, 6, and 7.

Aah, Cassandra Petersson....

She was on an episode of 'Counting Cars' last year, still looks stunning even though she's 60 now. She had her black 58 Thunderbird restored.

Very professional work Attila (in best sense of the word). Does Katana refer to the sword?

Katana is indeed a traditional Japanese sword.

The katana paired with the wakizashi (a shorter sword of similar design) were the samurai's basic "kit" during Japan's feudal era. The katana was used for more traditional open fighting (think outdoors), whereas the wakizashi was used for close-in fighting (think indoors where space is more restricted) and also for seppuku, ritual suicide.
