Here if it was possible to straighten the horizon as there is no stop reference model.
But the expression of the face is not the same as the first picture.

Great model, great shot !

I would of loved to see the model from head to toe with part of the boat at her feet, framed sideways....

Very, very nice notheless, thanks for sharing...

Mir, there are also vertical, but I liked more the frame and the shot was a 5.6, I think. Thank you very much for your words.

It's a good photo and the IQ is great, but the composition doesn't work for me.

Yep-it is an outstanding "sweet spot" lens-and if one shoots in the sweet spot as often as I do, a much better buy than the 1.4:

Great pose, beautiful lighting. Lovely atmosphere. Great bokeh!
Really a pleasing photo.

To tell the truth, I'm also not 100% convinced by the framing. But I understand why you did not choose the full figure:
both the landscape and the face would have lost importance in favour of less important detail!

I tried to make the horizon more straight, and that helped a lot in my perception. Give it a try.

Thanks Orio for your words. I'm not perpendicular to the line of the horizon and I am unable to straighten without turning the model. Is fashion photography so that the most important is the clothes and face. It is part of a campaign of a brand. Often the composition consider where the mark is placed. There are more full body shots with feet and all, but the one I like is this.
Then upload some other frame to see and compare.
Thank you again.

Actually, in this image it would be quite easy to make the horizon more straight without turning the model.

I prefer the first image both artistically and with fashion purpose in mind.

This is the choice for the brand.

Hello !
First one is best for me . I like the expression ,pose ,focus. But here I have a little observation if I'd be picky : maybe it's just me , but I don't like that horizon line exactly cutting the neck .Doesn't give me a secure sensation Laughing Call me paranoid ? Laughing I dislike this in my pics too.
I suppose you are using a special MF focusing screen on your 5D II ?
