The lens is stunning sharp wide open for an 1:1,5 lens from that time
Did you use tubes or can it focus that close natively?

Not usual to see from you flowers that are not in surreal colours but the results don't change, always great quality
as we have come to expect from you.

The lens shows some spherical aberration wide open, that you have used perfectly for your artistic purposes (glow).
When stopped down it becomes analitically sharp as in #3 which is my favourite of the series also because of the nice match
with the background colour.
My Biotar 1.5/75 does different, it's neat since wide open, but it's a different type than yours, mine is the fat one.
Probably your type is more useful in real world photography, because more versatile.
What I see in your series reminds me in fact a lot of my Helios-40 and 40-2 pictures: the glow, the swirly bokeh.
