Has anyone tried this yet? I got this 10 roll brick from amazon for 2.99 per roll. Given the reviews on amazon, how could I not?

They seem to be in a similar business as freestyle -- private labeling other makers' film, and at good prices...

The 135 and 120 may be different films in each speed etc. The net is full of conjecture: Ilford, Foma, Lucky seem to be the most popular opinions...

Anyway, soon enough I'll shoot some, and will report what the roll reminds me of...

Interesting! I'm looking forward to your results.
The box does not look "filmish", it's rather similar to a peppermints box or a female cigarettes box Smile

I too await your report and your photos. The reviews at Amazon sure are positive and the price has got my attention. I wonder how it compares to my favorite ISO 400 B&W film -- Tri-X Professional.

Ultrafine Extreme 400 120 film backing paper by Nesster, on Flickr

The backing paper is very nice -- good contrast through the ruby window. The whole set-up reminds me of Ilford: the paper, the date code on the carton, and the tone of the film after development.

I will post some once the film is dry and I scan it in.

I've used their 35mm extensively (about 300-400 feet). I'm told it's re-packaged Fomapan. It certainly has the same look and characteristics. Ultrafine responds VERY well to a yellow filter.
