lovely. who says 50mm cant do landscapes? it reminds me very much of the mountain streams of my area--i felt as if i was just down the road from my house!

Lovely landscape indeed. I wonder why it is in oversize gallery though, since clicking on it doesn't give access to a larger version...

Thanks Fermy. It's in Oversize gallery because it is larger than 1024 pixels.

I would like to ask you, if it looks balanced to you in terms of whites and blacks. I have recently painstakingly recalibrated my monitor because I got a series of prints from the shop that were all too dark,
so I thought that it could be my monitor to be too bright (although I can't exclude that it was the shop's system to be calibrated too dark).

On my monitor it looks perfect in terms of balance, but my monitor is not calibrated and I also got a series of prints from the shop that were too dark. However, I've also got a series of prints from another shop that were spot on, so I suspect that it's a shop rather than my monitor that is to blame.

it looks great on my monitor also orio, in fact, thats one of the aspects of the photo that was most appealing to me.
