First, Thanks Atilla for the link to the Foma website.

All printing paper that I can see on sale is variable contrast. Can you get good old fashioned graded paper anymore?

Also If I MUST use Variable Contrast paper where can one get VC filters from?

Fixed contrast paper still exists and can be found for sale, from Foma and from other makers, just some links (the first that come to my mouse):

Very good information in this thread. If you do go with a VC paper with no filters it should be about equal to grade 3 paper.

I didn't know that. I'd buy grade 3, it was my favourite. So, is all VC (unfiltered) grade 3?

Actually, they told me that no filter = grade 2
At least, with Ilford RC multigrade paper.

Thanks Orio, confusion where VC papers are concerned I think, but at least I can get single grade if I want it. Thanks again
