Had some fun shooting my Planar at my cousin's gig tonight, just wish I'd taken the 85mm to get in a little closer...

Great work Graham, but that was to be expected, your name in the "author" column is a quality trademark Very Happy

Ha, thanks Orio Smile I'm really loving the high ISO on this camera as it allows me shoot at f/2.8 in dark conditions. And f/2.8 onwards is where this particular Planar shines Smile

Great series. I think #3 or #5 is my favourite.

I would not shot a gig with a single prime; I usually use UWA zoom and medium tele (either 70-200 or a 135) for individual shots.

3 and 5 are the winners for me too. Nice series.

Wow, thanks for the kind comments everyone Smile

Martin - totally agree, I had no idea how big the venue was so I took a 28mm and a 50mm, turns out I could have done with something longer!

Carsten - I didn't dare say anything as everyone seemed to be wearing ill fitting trousers and shoes Laughing

I should add, I did get bumped about a bit in the mosh pit Laughing
