There is something that captures my eye when I look at #3,#4,#5...the subtle colors of the buildings, the design of the building in #5 it seems hidden out of place.I wish you could have gotten closer to explore it a little more especially those columns.. Very Happy

I like #4 because of the color of the buildings plus the large detailed wall on the left.A nice series there is plenty to look at in each image.

Thanks Mo, Patrick, I did take with me a film camera loaded with B&W that day,
but the colours were so great that I ended up using digital almost exclusively. Smile
Mo, I dig subtle colours Smile To my eye, the topaz colour of the waters with the green shade of the grass and the muted yellow of the poplars
in #14 #16 feel like the harmony of an orchestra to my ear. If I used on saturation I would have killed the photos.

Interesting shots as usual, even a half demolished building seem to look ok in Palma...also it looks like cold weather at the time with everyone wearing winter clothes.

Thanks Excalibur, the building was made in 1580 by the Farnese and is called Palazzo della Pilotta because the Spanish soldiers
did play the Basque pelota game in the courtyard.
It wasn't demolished, it's been destroyed by bombs in 1944 unfortunately, together with the Pinacoteca that was inside, and a theater
that was near it. The damage was so huge that they decided to not reconstruct it and leave it like that.
You can find some images and info on Wikipedia: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palazzo_della_Pilotta
Cold... yes, we have winter too. Wink It was -5°C this morning at 7:30 when I took Monica to work.
But winter is great to photograph. If I wasn't so chilly Rolling Eyes I would go out a lot more often, colours and light in the winter are fantastic.

I think you achieved this in all the images...especially in #4...my favorite. Very Happy

High altitude bombing of the train station and marshalling yards still wasn't that accurate in 1944 Sad ......... and I was surprised that in early December that it was so cold in Italy, but then I suppose it depends on which way the wind is blowing Wink

And I focused by guesstimate! Laughing The Snapshot-Skopar is not rangefinder coupled.
