Just got a 3.5/50mm quartz fluorite lens and took a quick walk while it was snowing... shot fully open at f3.5

Woa, some nice rendering, Klaus! Is this from one of the lenses recently got?

Yes, I just got that one in today! Test shots....

But it has a serious issue when light is reflected into the lens directly
(those I haven't shown), so it is for controlled environments (= lab) use.

Excellent sharp performer, love the colors.

That obviously it does, but a big part has the Lumix sensor which is really nice
with nicely saturated colors. (Admittedly I use the old 1/3 stop underexpose method).

I've been thinking about MFT, opens up all those cine lenses possibilites.

I use that a lot, although it is a lot of modding at times. But going the c-mount
route usually works well - except the risk of vignetting and quite inflated prices.

Fine series Klaus. What will you use the lens for?

Beautiful color rendering!
What lens is that Klaus?

That lens is mainly intended for UV work (Hamamatsu made it for that)

Here what it is planned for...same Eucharis flower as shown in another thread here:
