Thanks Tony and Attila,

The samples of this lens was added in the gallery section. It's the fastest M42.
Performance at f1.2 is about average, which also is better than many f1.4 lenses I have.

I got this body used not so cheap from last month, but haven't got time to play with it.
It feels like cheap plastic, not as good as pentax dslr, and I think I am regreting buying this body.
It is just a plain FF body. I would love to have a nex FF.

a massive upgrade in your gear - congrats

this is a beautiful series with very harmonic coloures - the pictures of the seaside are my faves.
I am not shure, but is this the lenses where a lot of myth exists ?

Myths?

Nice set. I have a Chinon labeled one and it does create special looking pictures wide-open. The "cut" back element makes highlights unique.

Sharpness is average at 1.2, I agree. Mine is staggeringly sharp beyond that though. Color rendition is a somewhat warm but natural. Contrast is on the low side at 1.2 but is much better even at 1.4.

I had just posted a recent sample here: http://forum.mflenses.com/viewtopic,p,1281612.html#1281612

Thank you.

I saw your chinon thread earlier.
I beleave the mamiya sekor 55/1.4 also a tomioka made lens, and did shot with it lately.
The yashinon has better bokeh. Sharpness at f1.4 might be same, or yashinon has a slightly better.

All my m42, contax, zuiko, nikkor lenses can be used on canon body. Yes, it's a massiv upgrade.

some more...

lovely lake shots Hoan. I think bokeh will be more fun with various light source, something like, little lamps background.

Thanks Suat,
#5 and #6 is taken from the same spot. As you can see in #6, the light source near infinity at f1.2 is getting interesting Very Happy
