Holga 400 = Fomapan 400. I think the other Holga B&W films are as well Foma. Developed in HC-110, scanned via Epson 4490. Thansgiving at mother-in-law's

Excellent results, Essex did a great job on the CLA, too. The last one of your
daughter is superb. Fomapan 400 and HC-110 is a great combo IMO, how do
you like it?

#2 is a framer as well, great set in all.

Too grainy and low dynamic level to my taste.

I went to mother-in-law's apartment with just the Super Ikonta and a spare roll of film. I am surprised with the grain, it is as visible here as with the 35mm through the Contax. Maybe Holga doesn't get the same emulsion as they use for Fomapan?

I'm not expert of the Kodak developers, but for finest grain maybe you should try something like X-Tol or Foma's own Fomadon Excel.
