Today during my walk with the dog I have had this lens and a D700 with me. Unfortunately the lens hits the mirror at infinity !

That's for sure a great lens, seems sharp and with lovely color rendering, I like also a lot the first picture with your dog Smile ...and I will not call this lens a "old coke bottle" !!!!

#1, #2 and #3 for me, but #4 is as good.
