My M9 does occasionally show some peripheric red colour shift when used with Snapshot-Skopar 4/25 lens at an angle where sunlight can bypass the hood and enter the frame.
I did not really care about this so far because it's really a minor issue. In any case I have found a software that does correct this issue with excellent results, it is called Cornerfix:
