Wonderful series, hard to pick a favourite. 14 and 16 are wonderful, but so are many others.
I have this lens, it's a big and heavy thing but I'll never sell it, it's right at the top of the tree of tele zooms imho. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

The only thing that stops me buying this lens (I'm a Hexanon fan) is my Kiron 80-200mm f4 is so good...it would be interesting for a shoot out between these two lenses. _________________ Canon A1, AV1, T70 & T90, EOS 300 and EOS300v, Chinon CE and CP-7M. Light was plenty I could use 1/250 all handheld + series shoots, I found best is to use 1/250 as minimum in S mode and small aperture as possible up to F8 and shoot series with fast card NEX can shoot 10 RAW. All help to get best moment and sharp images. _________________ -------------------------------

The Hexanon is 14 elements in 10 groups
The Kiron is 12 elements in 8 groups
Well assuming more is better, then the Hexanon wins _________________ Canon A1, AV1, T70 & T90, EOS 300 and EOS300v, Chinon CE and CP-7M.
