Hi Folks,
I got my idea from these guys:

How about just using the waist level viewfinder directly from a medium format camera and fix it strait on your NEX??
I wonder if it will fit if you buy one of these Russian finders?

Any idea of the dimensions?

I guess a combo of an P6, Kiev 60 or Kiev 88 waist level finder LCD Pop-Up Screen Hood Cover would work as well.

I agree. Also, I would image the TLR or medium format viewfinder is much heavier than the LCD screen. It could end up putting unnecessary strain on the NEX screen.
Unless you create an aluminium bracket to hold it using the tripod screw.

I did suggest x times metal frame fixed , to tripod mount + magnetic magnified finder cost only 10 UKP, why is it not okay ? I rare switch between waist level shoots and normal position where is matter that 2 sec until you remove metal frame. _________________ -------------------------------

Or simply reverse the "problem":
use a watchmaker's loupe, held in place

I tried to upload a photo showing how, but couldn't
since the uploader told me it was in debug mode?!? |

There are lots of options!

Not not too expensive either! The only issue is the size. May be too small for the 3 inch LCD.
