Tried this lens on a Canon 5D3 today, it's been lying neglected on the the shelf since I got it free with some other lens.
Lovely focus ring, very smooth action easy to focus.
Minimum focus distance is not great though. I also tried some landscape shots with it but they were so so, however this does not matter to me.

I like the bokeh, it looks painterly
I would not use it for portraits, but for landscape or still life it may deliver surprising results!

Went back to the same location today but with a Takumar 105 f/2.8 fitted to the Canon 5D3.

The colours really pop with lens, but to be fair to the Miksuki, there was a lot more light about.
