Intriguing and moody. I love it. It DOES remind me of how some early Hollywood directors used shadows in place of direct shots to suggest horrific action.

I agree about the old movies look. In fact the expressionist movie photographers of the 20s and 30s surely did take a lot of
inspiration from the interiors of the old churches, which were designed to use the contrast of the darkness and the daylight in a dramatic and symbolic way.
The light in my photo is natural, coming from a window of the church, but it indeed looks as if it could be a movie spotlight!

Yes, she surely did. Smile I liked that snow-cone bra she wore in The Vikings. Wink
