I love the lighting in the first photo VERY much.

+1 on that. The lens/camera/photographer gets very nice separation in the images.

I think this camera is best (at least for me so far Very Happy) for not strong light situation, something using speed 1/60 wideopen.
metering needle give help, but We must know speed combination with aperture as well as the light situation. (some of my shots overexposed)
