I had to go to New York for a couple of days. I brought my 5D MkII, Contax Vario Sonnar 28-85 and Contax 4/18.

All pics handheld, wide, or almost wide open.

Very good series, quite unusual!
I like #4 the most, great composition.
If I didn't read the whereabouts I would have said it was taken in Hong Kong or Taiwan Very Happy

Great series of a town you can really love and hate at the same time - certainly can't ignore the place.

On a side note, are you sure it was Nieuw-Amsterdam? I see only epicanthic fold eyes. Very Happy

Thanks for the nice remarks.

It is NY. I had a hotel between Little Italy and China Town. The Chinese side I found more interesting. The rain was fantastic I did some video as well. That looks awesome. The "night rain" shots were 09.30 (yes in the morning). It was that dark!
