Yesterday evenening I had a walk in Helsinki with my camera and Zoom-Nikkor 25-50/4 lens. D700 body, ISO 200. PP (mainly curves and some sharpening) applied.

Nice series, I can't help but thinking about Vejio when I see that cathedral Smile
My favourite is sad picture #7, I think it would be even better in B&W

Yes, this is a good constant aperture lens, sharp, distortion is not bad, well built but rather heavy.

Yes, Veijo used often the statues as models. Smile

To my eye, #4 is best (lovely composition!), followed by #2. The lens looks really great for a zoom.

#4 and last one are eye catcher really, nice series!

Very good series.
I like #7 and especially #4

I guess #7 would have been even better if the lens would have been stopped down a tack more.
