Takumar 50mm 1.4. I dont have any experience shooting animals, advices are welcome!
I like the way color matches between dogs head and background. This is not my dog, we just came across in the forest Smile

Nice dog portraits.
My suggestion is simply that you stop down the lens more when you are dealing with a moving subject.
Using such a tiny DOF as you used, means 90% chances of missing the focus on the important spot (the eyes).

Thats true. These both shots are wide open.

This is the place where these shots were taken (Takumar 50mm), only lens I had with me...
