I hadn't used this lens very much yet so I took it out for a stroll and just happened to walk into the aftermath of an open air fashion show.
It was a day of watching in Amsterdam's most fashionable P.C.Hooftstraat:

Hate those shoes.....

I am glad she didn't put her fingers together......

After so much fashion your feet start to hurt

The end

A thirsty dog on the way. Cropped

My favourite sculpture in Amsterdam. Put in a tree by an unknown artist.

Excellent series!
A great eye with gear to back it up.
Where is that sculpture located?, the picture is just haunting, and I love the sculpture.

Since that's in Dutch only: on the side of Stadhouderskade nearby Leidseplein, use Google Maps if needed.

Together with the 1.4/35, 1.4/85 and 4.5-5.6/100-300, it is one of the Contax lenses that is almost always present in my reflex bag. Smile

Thanks so much for the kind words guys. I was lucky that day I guess.

The dog was great until it saw me and jumped on me to say "hi".

I fully understand that Orio. It is a great lens and am surely going to use it more from now on! I was really pleased when I saw the results. It pops like a shaken champagne bottle Smile)

Here is another one of the little guy in the tree.
About 20-25 years ago several statues were placed in Amsterdam by an anonymous artist. This is one of them. You can see the tree growing around the saw blade. It is small, about 30 cm high and you have to know where it is to see it. There is no mention of it on a plaque or something. I just love it.
