Very nice samples!
Contrary to some erroneous popular belief, this lens is not of Zeiss/Voigtlaender design, in spite of the "Ultron" in the name.
It is a Mamiya Rolleinar lens which was rechristianized after Rollei got hold of Voigtlaender from Zeiss.
The lens is Japanese in design, but is on par quality-wise with the excellent level of the German Rollei lenses.

Indeed, I think Contax Planar 50mm f1.4 not better at all.
