Murano is another island in the Venice archipelago. It is considered the italian capital of artistic glass.
This is the last in the Venice-related series. Since there are few photos here I added a couple of details.
All photos taken with Biogon 2/35 ZM. Thanks for watching Smile

#1 - A beautiful small baroque church (maybe a chapel):

#2 - Monument with glass ducks (cropped):

100% detail of above:

#3 - Panorama with tourist, the scene made me think of Gauguin as I took it:

100% detail of above:

#4 - A row of furnaces:

#5 - Main canal of Murano:

#6 - Oriental glimpse:

#7 - Other furnaces:

#8 - The lighthouse:

Thanks guys. I always say that with a good 35mm lens and camera, a photographer can do nearly everything Wink

Thanks Paul. If I could stay there for a long time I would have made a series only of people looking through that door Laughing
It's funny, you never know who can show up and the reactions are always different. Smile
An idea maybe to use elsewhere (but it won't be easy to find another suitable location).
The cam in all these series was always the M9.

what a great place! we should pay you for educating us! i'm writing all these islands down for future visits!

and what a great combo of lens and camera. i am really starting to appreciate the m9 and how different the results are with great RF glass from other cameras. its price still is more than my meager talent deserves, ive decided to go for the ricoh gxr m mount, which, though not a RF, is also optimized for M glass...
