I got another copy of this lens so I took a few test shots at a local festival. All shot wide open or f2.












I missed the focus on the next shot. Really disapointed.

I like it. Nothing outstanding but nothing really wrong either. Were you unsatisfied with your original copy?

Nothing wrong with my other copies. I just keep seeing them in recycle shops attached to FEs and FMs and I can't resist buying them! I've got 4 copies now and none cost more than 2000 yen (about 20 euro). I'll keep my favourite and one more and give or sell the others on to friends.

20 EUR! Wow, that's a price. I've been looking for one here but finding one below EUR 100 is next to impossible.

I like the lamps shot, reminds me of a movie I saw years ago.

Few lens are worth €100 for the f/1.4 aperture. I got both mine for €30 or less. Nikkor glass will fetch higher prices of course but if you if you check eBay's completed listings you'll see some going for less than €100 sometimes less than €70.
