Well I don't know how you don't disturb your subjects, I'd have thought that they would freak out with a lens that close. _________________ Gary

Amazing!. Superb results.
Do you use the 2/40 on top of another lens, or straight to the camera?.
I'm really impressed with your work with reversed lenses...

You have to be very quiet and slowly approach the cam to the bug, focus with live view and max magnification and shoot when you have the head/eyes of the bug in focus if the bug is still there of course ......it works quite easy with fly, dragonfly and bee but most of the other bugs does not allowed you to come that close......One day, I will have to get a real 100mm macro lens in order to have some more distance between the cam and the subject....

Thanks a lot for your kind comment Jes...for the fly, I have use the lens straight (reversed) to the cam and for the dragonfly, I have use some macro rings and the lens was indeed not reversed..... _________________ All my lenses are for sale, nikkor, Angenieux, Zeiss etc.....
