Picked up another Miranda lens. This is the earlier 50 1.8. I already have the later EC 50 1.8 made by Sun Optics. I will test it as soon as I get it.

Wow - ! You really had to "pay through the nose" to get that one Very Happy I reckon one definition of 'bargain' is when the cost of a lens is more or less equal to the shipping cost . . .

I got it today. I will post a pic of the lens later. These are handheld at 95 + degrees, so I didn't take much time with these.
C&C always welcome.

Shot at f1.8 standard sharpening with contrast boost.

Shot at f4 with standard sharpening with contrast boost.

Looks very good.
Great shot, nice textures and colors.

I wonder if the earlier f/1.9 is similar. I have one on a Sensorex.

Kinda gloomy, hot overcast day. Sad The lens is marked at MFD 1.7 ft, but it goes past that mark.

Shot at f5.6 at MFD, Standard sharpening with a contrast boost, handheld.
Shot sucks. I will repost later. It dosen't seem to have much DOF at f5.6, at MFD. Question
I would of expected a little more then that.
Any type of comments are always welcome.
