flickr explore likes me these days. when I checked, befor posting it here, if that other one still was at #1 ( see: http://forum.mflenses.com/sony-sel18-55-takes-my-most-successful-flickr-photo-t51643.html ) I found that there is a newer photo that just made it to "flickr explore" too, taken with the SEL16mm on NEX5N on top of a small Buddhist Vihara in Taiwan:

cheers,
Andreas

eddieitman the other one of the Wisherman's Wharf was invited to a few groups but all require me to comment on or award a number of others. But working on my photos and hanging around here and in one or two other forums already means too much time on front of the computer and I get pain in my eyes. Therefore I won't look for photos to award or comment on and stopped submitting to those, pretty much to any group.

I post photos here and there was a time when I tried to draw attention to my photos by posting some at dpreview and one or two other forums. That had some effect, obviously a changing number of people check out my photos resulting in an average daily viewcount of abt. 1000

These last "explore" photos made some people choose me as their "contact" but I have not seen their photos yet to see if I would want to choose them as contacts too. I am sorry to be that "unsocial", some must have "left" because of that, but well, it's a fact and gratefully others don't mind.

thank you poilu. I took 3 or 4, for this final one I had to lean over the railing and stretch out my arm, I have long arms and the tilting LCD really helped for the composition Smile

best greetings,
Andreas
