Hi!
After viewing the amazing macro's from RenseH, I was curious to have a try with one of my lens! The voigtlander is perfect for this purpose, very small and light and above that a great sharp lens.... There is a lot to be improved, better choice for the background for example, better light and better use of the flash (I almost never use flash so I have also to learn a lot ...) but that was a lot of fun and quite amazing to see the bugs so close and with so much details .....
Anyway, here is a short selection from my first results, all handheld, SB800 flash+bounce and reversed voigtlander 40mm on D700, all between f11 and f22, focus with live view....:
(#3 & 4 are shot with additional macro ring)
1/(around 50% crop)
2/
3/ the same bugs ("ephemere" in French, i don't know the name in English!) shot with a 180mm:
4/(light crop)
5/(around 50% crop, the spin was quite small, I think not more than 3mm!)
Thanks for looking _________________ All my lenses are for sale, nikkor, Angenieux, Zeiss etc.....

You must share the same property with RenseH !
That's amazing - I wouldn't even call this as a try.
