I like them all, but #18 portrait my favorite! I love the portraits captured in street with some special emotions! I feel some dramaturgy in such composition, and I feel some dynamics when all objects are static _________________ “The hardest thing of all is to find a black cat in a dark room, especially if there is no cat.”

Somewhere dark images works well, somewhere not . On rugby I don't like too dark images on tractor and single man I like it. _________________ -------------------------------

Agree with Attila . The beach shots and the portrait are good. The rugby shots haven't worked out quite so well. |

Cheers guys. I agree, the rugby shots came out a bit dark. My handheld lightmeter gave me a reading of f14 at 1/500 and the closest I could set the lens was f16, I should have gone for f11 instead. My first time shooting sports/action so a nice learning experience. I would have liked to shoot more street portraits/people but the streets were pretty much deserted. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

They're not dark, they're much contrasted. It's different.
Look at the sky, it's almost white, dark pictures don't have white sky. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Very true
Similar to a quite big S curve in PS or "crush the blacks" like the movie makers say

Yes, on all shots there was some tweaking of contrast and brightness. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

10, 14 and 20 are the real stand outs for me. I think the rugby shots would have been better if you had been on the other side of the pitch with the sun behind you - sports photographers perform some sort of strange magic that I will never understand. |

Cheers Skida, there was a reason I shot from where I did - I was stood behind the boundary wall so didn't have to pay to get in! The direction of the light never occurred to me! _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |
