Attila, who wrote this review?
"Very sharp, outstanding quality lens. This lens was my first Olympus lens in my collection I didn't expected much after many excellent 135mm lenses like Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 135mm f/2.8, Nikkor 135mm f/3.5 etc. I thought I have all what I want I bought this lens just for testing and sell out after test is done. I have to change my mind. This lens is excellent from every aspects very well built, optically superb and very good looking too. Close focusing distance not good as CZJ Sonnar 135mm this is only the minus compare with Sonnar."
http://www.mflenses.com/olympus-om-zuiko-auto-t-135mm-f-3.5-lens-review.html
And according to this site:
http://www.mflenses.com/olympus-om-zuiko-lens-list-2.html
The 3.5/28 is as good as the other 28mm lenses by Olympus.
I am a little confused now... _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

That's what I hope for, Poilu.
The 135mm lenses I have are either good, fast and huge or small and slow.
Perhaps this Zuiko will be my new fav 135...
And I do not shoot often with a 28mm, since I prefer 24mm and 35mm. But if this Zuiko 28mm is pretty small, it will fit into my bag with problem. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

Way to go, Carsten! I for one had a lot of usage with the Canon FD 28mm lens with my old Canon AE-1. I think it's really nice for landscapes...not too wide as to make everything pitifully small, but wide enough to gather some needed compositional elements together. This was especially useful for me in shooting the temperate rain forests here because all the detail needs to be rendered sharply and you either have to shoot "wide" or "tele" based on all that detail. In landscapes I probably used it 30% of the time, or even a bit more than that. _________________

The two lenses arrived today. Already!!
That was really quick. Even too quick for my OM-EOS-adapter that is still pending...
Thus I cannot show any testshots so far.
But I can describe the lenses.
1. They are mint. Not "like new", rather really "new". You could not tell this lens from an absolutely new one that you just have bought from a camera shop as a "new" lens! Glass is pristine!
Here you can see what I found in the parcel:
Original boxes
Original manuals, straps and lens cases inside
Mint lenses
What you might see on the glass are honestly only reflections...
2. They are beautiful, absolutely gorgeous! You perhaps know that the aesthetical qualities of a lens are very important to me, not only the performance. (That's the reason why I often take the "more attractive" Jupiter-11 instead of the "better" Jupiter-37, Nikkor-Q.C 3.5/135 or Tair-11).
3. They came with original lens hoods, one for the filter thread of the 28mm and the 135mm has a fixed lens hood.
4. They are very well built lenses. Their focus ring turns smoothly, almost as nicely and velvety as with my Leica lens!
5. The 135mm lens has an octagonal aperture diaphragm (8 blades). (The 28mm has six blades).
6. They are small, very small! I did not expect them to be so small!
Just compare them to other lenses of the same focal length:
Zuiko W 3.5/28; Pentax-M SMC 2.8/28 (my so far smallest 28mm); Vivitar 2.8/28 (also a very small one); Vivitar 2.5/28
Zuiko T 3.5/135; Jupiter-11 4/135; Jupiter-37 3.5/135; Nikkor-Q.C 3.5/135; Tair-11 2.8/135
If the adapter works well and the lens performance gets close to what I have read on www.mir.com.my, these will be my first choice lenses in their focal length group. I do not shoot often with a 28mm or a 135mm so small size is important. I can still easily take them with me and have them if I need them...
At the moment, I am very happy. Now I am waiting for the adapter... _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!
