I reproduced the same situation that caused me flare problem in the past when using a B+W "digital" UV filter:
Biogon 2/35 lens, UV filter on, no lens hood. Shooting backlight, or straight into the sun.
In other words, torture test:

Sun in the frame, wide open:


Sun in the frame, stopped down:


Sun in the frame, wide open:


Sun shortly outside frame, stopped down:


I will test more, but I would say that these first tests are very promising. Of course there is a iris ghost when the sun
is in the frame (it is unavoidable), but I do not see any flare haze, which is where most UV filters fall.

I too don't see anything wrong with any of the photos above.
