right off the bat i can say i love focus&shoot with touchscreen
i'll first get acquainted with the camera and then reboot "testing my lenses" series, retesting all of the lenses i did with e-520, also i already have 4 canon fd lenses lined up (canon 50mm/1.8 , 135mm , 75-150mm/4.5 and one makinon zoom) _________________ my tools:Oly E-M5 + 45mm/1.8 + Oly E-520 + 12-60 + 14-42 + 70-300 + Sigma 105mm + FL-50R + EC20 + SRF-11 ring flash

Indeed. Is this system fast enough or does it lag? _________________ Orio, Administrator

orio my experience leads me to say i am nothing short of amazed at this cameras speed and accuracy of focus, both traditionally through vf and nontraditionally through touch lcd screen. way faster than ep2, way faster than x100, way faster than my old sigma sd 12 and sony a100. id say its on par with the 5d, even in low light in terms of speed and accuracy.

it costs about $1000 usd body only. were i you orio, i would not buy either of the 'kit' lenses as they are not up to your standards. however, if you wrre interested in the cameras AF ability, i would strongly suggest the panasonic 20/1.7 as the best IQ/versatile/cost propsition. it is an excellent, and small, lens, that i got for about $300 usd.
