Check here for details:
http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1096474
Price: $1525 (Reduced from $1700)
Payment method: PayPal
Item condition: 10 Preowned equipment, but appears as new

The guy who sold it to me told me it had never been mounted on a camera and never been used. It looks like it too! Well, I'm going to mount it on my camera at least once but this thing is in absolutely perfect condition! Truly, "mint" actually applies for once.
I'll add images of it a little later.

Sure, in this case I can do that. I usually keep them on my server (up now for 5 years with no missing images) But I can upload them if you'd like. You acted like a real man in our last exchange and I appreciate that immensely!
I haven't taken a picture OF the lens yet tho. But only because I've been having too much fun taking pictures WITH the lens. I got it only about 8 hours ago you see.
Unless there becomes a discussion or some suggestions I'll just keep adding images to this post so that it doesn't keep bumping with every added image.
One thing to take note of however is that I'm shooting this ZE lens (which really shines on a hi-rez FF camera) on my GH1, a lowly 1st wave µ4/3 with a 2:1 crop factor.
First up was a CA test wide open at f/2.8 with extreme backlighting followed by a more normally lit shot of it at f/9.5. This is not even the lens's minimum focus distance (MFD) so it kinda shows that this 21mm lens can be used as a sort of macro lens.
Next up a micro contrast sample and a look at the lens's stopped down bokeh when close focusing (again at f/9.5):

It's ok to post images taken with the lens, but the request was to publish images *of* the lens.
And post them here, please, no external links.
If you have a description, post it here too: it takes a few seconds to copy and paste text from anywhere else to here.
And please do not reply that it's easier to follow a link.
This marketplace is not a subsidiary of something else: if you want to sell here, you need to publish a full ad *here*.
The respect of this place, of this people is #1 rule.
Thank you. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Are you guys mad at me or something?
Am I doing something wrong here?
Please clue me in if I am.
Of course I respect everyone.
So far I have always posted the "full ad" here.
And since I myself hate following links to off-site locations when the data isn't ALSO presented I wouldn't ask anyone else to do so either.
I just also reference the one at FM because that's where my sales references are. Like some people show their references at E-Bay in order to earn trust as a seller.
My images are almost always uploaded to my own private server because I like having COMPLETE control over my work. I usually do not wish to give away my photos. In this case I agreed to Attila's request so I can upload the ones for this sale here and I'm OK with that.
I hope no one is mad at me for anything. I'm confused.
Anyway here are the images of the lens which I just now got around to taking a few minutes ago:

Great photos, thanks.
If you used half of the energy that you used for needless talk and complaining, for posting a proper ad since the beginning instead, we wouldn't have been through this.

Well, if you want to sell on this forum, you need to upload the images here on this forum. Period.
It is not a concession that you make to us. It is a requirement for posting sale ads here.
If there is a favour anywhere here, it's the favour that this forum makes to you, to let you sell your stuff free of fees and charges.
Please think about it before complaining again. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Yeah, there's some kind of miscommunication happening here. I wasn't complaining about anything. Just so you know.
I'm very grateful for this service! This site rocks man! I'm loving it! Why isn't that coming through in my posts?
Also if it's a rule that we upload the images to be posted here it might be a good idea to add that to the rules list. I've read it many times now and that doesn't seem to be there. http://forum.mflenses.com/marketplace-rules-t32548.html Or is it posted somewhere else? |

Yeah, it's always true.
I moved some cheepy OM images out of a sub-folder and into it's parent once - not long ago actually. But other than that nothing has changed. Everything I've advertised is still there.
Sorry about missing your PM BTW. I always press the Home key and look to see if it says I have any new messages. It didn't say so I didn't look. But I got it now, thanks! |
