I am not sure. I need to test that, but as far as I can say now, I would say that the 350D produces pics that are sharp and with intense colours and the 40D produces with this lens pictures that are even sharper, similarly colourful and a little under-exposed compared to the 350D.

The Volna-3 is very good on my 350D and excellent on my 40D.
