In hindsight, I should have used the 35/2.8 instead, as the last two shots painfully demonstrate that I chopped the big fireworks out Either way, results are better than last November 5th's effort Next year I will use a wider lens! _________________ Graham - Moderator

Does anyone else think the last six are a bit wonky though? I might need to rotate them a bit _________________ Graham - Moderator

Thanks Niko, Olivier Yes, 4 seconds seemed to work OK, but it depends really on how many are going off at once So I just did random exposures _________________ Graham - Moderator

Ha! When I say random, I mean I tried different exposures Long ones sometimes look a bit messy, with too many fireworks. Short ones are often not interesting enough. The chap next to me was using bulb setting on a remote! _________________ Graham - Moderator
