Is there a point to this? I though Contaxt G is AF only RF camera?

I think works with manual lenses too, and this lens is really excellent.

Who knows .. maybe because the 16mm Hologon is too expensive and this one is even wider.

It's intriguing if the in body rangefinder will work with manual lens or you will need to use only the scale to estimate focus.

12mm on fullframe must be amazing!

With 12mm almost everything will be in focus, even wide open. So don't worry about the rangefinder; just use the lens at its hyperfocal distance and snap away! Smile

just a matter of curiosity, does this mean that all wide cv's can be so converted?

not all 15mm for example go deep into body, 12mm is not.
