In general you are right. But as it is very severe and on a fisheye (whose image extends to the very lens edge) it might degrade the image considerably in this particular case. _________________ Sevo |

Agreed, that fisheye is very early and actually crap. Had it once, regretted it. _________________ Klaus - Admin

I think as diaphragm is closed, less of front element circumference is used. Should be okay stopped down I think. In first photo looks like it is confined to outer circumferential regions, and reflections in subsequent photos.
I have a version if this lens, Soligor iirc. I was able to coax some decent images after set up & used according to the instruction booklet. (on my to-scan list, also to check how easy it is disassembled) _________________ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ like attracts like! ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮
