So back in October when I was in Illinois, and locked out of the house where I was crashing, I took a long photo hike that led me to a small park called Valley Forge Park. It's got a playground, a pond, and some manicured lawns. I've never photographed a playground before because there's usually kids there and I don't think I'd do well in jail. This time, no kids, so I set me gear back on a playground deck and took my K-7 (28mm Vivitar) and F3 (28-200 Tamrom) around the park taking various, hyper-dramatic and uber-artsy photos. Here are some that turned out.
This was taken with the F3 using Kodak Gold 100 (from Russia, not that the latter part of that is in any way important.) When I was a kid they had ladders strung between posts. now it's spinning wheels instead of ladders. It must be great to be a kid today.
Taken with the K-7 on 100 ISO. Converted to monochrome in Photoshop. This is a ladder going up to a platform.
F3 with Kodak Gold 100. I wanted to capture a wheel's motion to commemorate me trying to cross the thing and falling off, scraping my knee, and crying until someone brought me a Scooby-Doo Band-Aid. This happens often on my photo hikes.
K-7. This was a neat playground element, a sinusoidal sort of thing and I wanted to capture its shape.
