Wow, the MFT version looks much smakler than the 8mm version for the APS-C DSLRs.

I own the 8mm version for Sony Alpha. Great Lens!

I do like my two Samyang lenses, the 18-28mm significantly more than my 500mm, though. However ,each Samyang I own has problems. With the 500, f8, the DoF is thinner than a grandpa's hairline. It does NOT feel like an f8 DoF. With the 18-28, the focusing ring rotates only 1/3 of the full lens circumference, meaning that the difference between focusing five feet and 15 feet away is about 2/3 of an inch. This complicates precision focusing. That said, I would readily buy another Samyang.

I LOVE my samyang 8/3.5, I sold first copy to fund another lens but quickly realised I made a mistake so I bought second copy which is sharper and has less CA Wink
