One of my latest purchases: an Agfa Billy with an Anastigmat Apotar-lens and a Prontor ll shutter. Built in 1959. After a CLA by me it seems to function o.k. Coming month I will shoot some pics with it.

You might be right. I got confused because of the serialnumber: T6T 1959.

Code:
Agfa Billy Rekord

The Agfa Billy Record folder camera series production started in 1928 and continued until 1960. The most recent models were the latest traditional folding cameras made.

Quiet a mistery I found this info. A pre-war type camera but perhaps made in 1959 Shocked

Nice looking camera, but I'm annoyed by the fact that they stand sideways. Damn OCD.

I think I have solved the mystery. I have found the following answer at Camera-wiki.org :

''Agfa Billy Record 4,5
year of launch: 1935, since 1940 with double exposure protection, since 1945 with Prontor S shutter
Lens: Apotar 1:4.5/105mm or Solinar 1:4.5/105mm
Shutter: Prontor II, speeds 1 - 1/150 sec.''

Since my Agfa lacks the double exposure protection and is fitted with the Prontor II-shutter it should have been built in the late nineteen-thirties.

Nice camera! In the case of folders I always look at the lens. If it's uncoated then it's definitely made pre-1945. I had one of those too, but that was an even older version without body shutter release.
