I think they mean it "has" specks of fungus, not "as"
Selling "as is" means they offer no apologies for the condition of the lens. He is saying "you can't ask for a refund because of the condition of the lens."
The seller has very poor punctuation the points are
focusing is smooth
aperture ring moves perfectly
no oil on the blades
no dents
fungus on lens
Putting it in that format should help if you need to use google translate. |

Specks of fungus is unusual, isn't it? I always thought it grows in strands. So maybe it is some weird haze after all. _________________ Canon 5D, Jupiter 11A 135mm f/4, Soligor (Tokina) 105mm f/2.8, Nikon 55mm f/1.2 S-Auto, Sigma MF 50mm f/2.8 Macro, Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 MC, Olympus Zuiko 28mm f/2.8 MC |

Perhaps the seller doesn't have the correct understanding of the vocabulary required.
"Specks" also sounds less than "strands" Perhaps it makes it not sound so bad? |

All you need to make sure is that if the spots where the fungae are located have a green tint, if they do it means you won't able to restore it because the damn critters have already eaten it up, they are etched too deeply.
This doesn't mean it will be an unusable lens, not at all, but you might no like the way it looks. _________________ Body: Fujifilm X-E1

It was a Yashica 50 / 1.4, and went on ebay really cheap. The seller, there are other "special" specks fungal lenses for sale.
